Today, my friend offered me his old 55 gallon tank for free.The tank has custom maple wood on the side of the tank so the turtles dont get stressed.He said that the rocks and the pump and the filtration system comes with the cage.I am going to order 3 RES and 1 painted turtle[ there babies ].I need only 13 more dollars then i can order them, im soooo excited

This post is just experimental for the most part.

I want to talk about some of the animals I have/ have had. Right now I have a painted river terrapin (batagur), an Indian spotted pond turtle, an Aliggator snapper, and 4.4 (I think) three toed box turtles. I also have two Iranian Kaiser newts, 2 snakes, 2 dogs, and 3 cats.

Can someone please tell me what type filtration system will handle an Asian Leaf Turtle. She is about 9 inches and I can't find a filtration system that will handle her waste for more than three days. I can't go on vacation until I find someway to make her safe.
