I feed Bindi baby crickets, red earthworms, baby snails and mealworms. I soak her first to get her warm and ready to eat. It also stimulates her to eliminate. Your turtle will be 7-8 years old before you will know the sex. I'm hoping for a girl since my late hatchling that I raised is now 15 years old and is a male. He has been a bachelor long enough.

my RES has laid 2 clutches of eggs this summer
Had a surprise today of finding 2 eggs in Teddy's tank while unpacking the soil. Didn't puncture the eggs, but I'm telling you if looks could kill she'd would have mauled me.
Booger is currently on my sh*t list as he bit Scruffy on the nose...grrr
dandelions and clover....yay spring!
I always say that putting two turtles together is a bad idea in most situations, but I thought I could get away with it this time. It worked for 6 days and today, Barney started to fan Sheldon and bit him twice on the nose. I removed him for the entire day and when I put him back in, he went after Sheldon within 15 minutes. Guess it's back to one turtle per tank.
