How soon after being laid do turtle embryos attach to the top of the shell?

You should see it within one to two weeks.

If the eggs are accidently turned within 24 hours of being laid then they will still survive?

If it happened after a few hours you're good. After 24 hours i couldn't tell you. It's never happened to me.

It hasn't happened to me yet, I was just wondering.
Also, Can eggs that been laid be placed in an incubator at any time? I have some eggs that have been laid a week ago but I want to put them in an incubator. I ordered one but it may take a week or two to get here. Can I dig up the eggs and incubate them then? Thanks.

You should be able to move the eggs to an incubator at any time as long as they eggs are not turned.
