Please help me identify this turtle we found in the creek. He/She (?) has some marks on his shell and I don't know if the turtle is injured. How old do you think the turtle is? Thanks so much.

Softshell. I don't know if you plan to try to keep it, but they are not good captives and they get huge. I would put her back.

Either an Eastern Spiny Softshell(Apalone spinifera spinifera) or a Guadalupe Spiny Softshell(Apalone spinifera guadalupensis). I'm leaning towards a female Guadalupe Spiny Softshell.

Here is a pic of my little girl. She is about 3 or 4 years old in this photo

Wrong, perhaps we should learn the location of the OP before making guesses.  The turtle is from the Philippines, and should be Dogonia subplana unless pelodiscus sinensis is in that area, which I don't believe it is.

Like the others said, its some sort of softshell turtle.  They get big and nasty like a snapper.  Looks like it has some carapace wounds and/or shell fungus and needs some medical attention.  Getting it into some clean water along with meds will help.  Its hard to tell a turtles age unless you know the bday.

Actually, unlike most softshells, dogania does not get very big.  Much smaller than any of our native softshells. You're looking at a full grown turtle there, and judging by the size (compared to the reflection of someones hand in the water) its probably about 10/11 inches or so, if that
