This year I purchased 3 concentric, 2 white speckled and 3 normal hatching Daimond back terrapins. I went on Craigslist yeaterday and see a BEAUTIFUL 8 inch c.b. concentric female for $60. SCORE!!! DBT.jpg DBT2.jpg

Score is right!!! Love craigslist, not usually for turtles, but anything. I have seen 2 albino red ears on there before, but harshly priced. Turtle looks nice!!

I check craig's list a few times every week, checking out a few nearby communities. I've made some good finds of purchased and LTC turtles, but I also note the number of people who are selling local indigenous turtles that would appear to be be wild caught or back yard finds. And always the huge number of RES, often for free.

I've gotten a few musks for myself, a pink bellied side neck and 2 Mississippi maps for my daughter-in-law, and a couple of RES for the local school. Rarely have I seen any really rare or valuable turtles.
