The last time I was on this forum I picked up a bunch of nasty malware. I believe it was from clicking on one of the ads that runs at the top accidentally. Since then, I got rid of the infectious malware and upgraded my antivirus protection.

I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem, and to warn others that some of the ads are bad.

One can pick up malware or any adware from any ad anywhere on the internet or even just visiting a website anywhere.  In today's world, it is best to have a good virus protection program in place and to periodically (i.e., weekly or daily) run a virus program to check your system.  We ourselves have the Verizon Security Suite (we have Verizon Fios) which does an excellent job.  I usually avoid clicking on ads anywhere on the internet.

Firefox with Adblock works very nicely.  I see 0 ads here nor on Youtube.
