anyway, she is about 3 inches long and she is hanging out with her brother Korben Dallas (same movie), Korben is my sister's sulcata, my sister is keeping Leeloo for me until i can build a nice big pen for Leeloo, i was just wondering if i should build a shed for her for winter? [?]

I'm glad you like the name [:turtle] i recently found out that i am getting Korben too, but i will want to keep them separate outside, when they are inside they should be able to share the same tub until they get bigger, will 5 square feet by 6 square feet and 3 feet tall be big enough? that is how big i am making Nancy's and Mayhem's enclosures (they will be separated inside and outside) inside it would be 30 square feet total, to small or to big? i know it is about right for my boxies, but i am not so sure about it being good for 3 inch sulcatas, i could make it smaller and as they grow make it bigger

i personally feel like allot of size requirements for turtles and torts are based off the idea that in the wild they cover such large territories, but in captivity your providing them everything they need so do they really need that much space? now im not saying throw a boxie in a ten gallon aquarium but... do the enclosure you can so long as it has all they need and dont worry to much about it... obviously with sulcatas youll have massive torts to deal with someday. id think that be fine for a short term kind of thing... really wish i lived someplace i could keep a sulcata theyre so cool aha, just far to many cold months here in ky

OK. i talked to one of my friends on reptilechannel and he said that that is much to big for 3 inch babies and said that i should make it 2 by 1 foot in stead of 5 by 6 and my sister said that that is about what they are in now so i am going to build two 5 foot by 6 foot enclosures for Nancy and Mayhem and two 1 foot by 2 foot enclosures for Leeloo and Korben Dallas, and as a plus this way i will be able to get the lumber sooner:)

Ok a few days ago Stoney was making these little coughing sounds...I only heard her do it maybe 3 times in 3 days
but still made me worry. :(
