My turtle accidentally swallowed a small piece of gravel thinking it was food. When I saw him munching on it, I ran over and tapped n the glass of the aquarium and scolded him, but he darted behind a log and quickly swallowed it. Any suggestions or will he be okay?

How big is your turtle? Usually swallowing one piece of gravel won't be an issue; however, turtles can become impacted (intestinal blockage) if too much is swallowed. I would suggest removing the gravel and substituting larger pebbles or stones too large for the turtle to swallow.
