How large should my musk be at 1 year and 4 months, assuming feeding and lighting have been proper?

I got him when he was about 3 weeks old. Now he is about a year and 4 months. He might be 2-2.5 inches. He's a fat bugger, but he isn't growing like my red bellied cooter who is a little over 7 inches at 2 years old.

The cooter hasn't grown much in the last few months (thank goodness). Is this size typical for a one year old musk?

Ah that's good. I even had put him in a 40 gallon tank, thinking maybe the tank size (20 gallon wasn't big enough. I measured him last night and he is 2.75 inches.

Razorback musk turtles top out at about 5-6". Some grow faster than others.

Mine is almost 2 and only about 3 in SCL or so. Seems about right.
