Washed up in flash flood today...

This little turtle washed up in our yard after flash flooding in Houston, Texas today.  Can anyone ID him/her for me?

Forgot to mention that he/she LOVES blood worms.  Not so interested in veggies.  So pretty sure we can count him as carnivorous.

To me, it looks like some type of mud turtle.  Hopefully one of our ID experts can confirm this and let you know exactly what species it is.

Looks like a Mississippi Mud to me. Very cool.
