Hi! I found this turtle in my yard today.Can anyone tell me what kind it is? Thank you!

Its either a Fla box turtle or an Ornate box turtle. Where do you live? I could tell if you posted a pic of him/her wet and also a pic of his/her bottom (plastron)

Ditto - where do you live? That is a big factor in what may be in your area! This is definitely a box turtle, but cold be Eastern, Ornate or Desert, depending on where you live.

The way the shell appears to be kind of "scooped" out at the ends seems to me to indicate that this turtle has been in someone's care before (though not proper nutrition). Otherwise, it's an adult boxie. More pics as well as your location would greatly help.
