I'm in the process of setting up my group of Emydura subglobosa outside in a 500 gallon pond. I'd like to know if anyone has any experience with keep tropical species outdoors. I know folks keep them outdoor in Florida all year and they are probably exposed to cooler temps than they would naturally experience in the wild yet my temps in Virginia can much cooler Florida. If anyone keeps the turtles outdoors and could share what the coolest sustain temps they let them experience before breeding them in please let me know.

Thanks
Xavier
