Found this spider with egg sacks around the house. Waited two weeks until they hatched. Only 2 of the 5 sacs have hatched and there are literally hundreds of baby spiders. They dont appear to be leaving the nest after a weeks worth of time. Im wondering if the mother will catch an subdue an insect to let them feed before they leave the nest.

Those are some cool pics, but ya, I don't think I could have ever gotten close enough to take them. I can handle most anything, but spiders and scorpions aren't my cup of tea.

I have caught and handled a few different venomous snakes in Texas, they don't bother me at all. Put a spider on the ground or near me and I am either dancing on it or hauling *&^% the other way.
