whats the best way to breed them ,how deep should the water be? my pond is 2and a half ft but i think its to hard for them to get out so im gonna fix it and put more of a gradual descent to the deep part, what do u suggest

Just let them do what they do naturally. Its better to have 1.2 or 1.3 as the males can be very aggressive. Redesign the pond to have less of a slope on the sides or give them some type of "toehold" on the sides using a rubber or fake turf mat.

thanks for the reply ,also does depth mater is 2 ft to deep
