I have a box turtle who was on medicine for two weeks. He had some maggots in his skin. I took him to the vet and got medicine and some betadine. He has been off the medication and betadine for about a week now. His leg where the maggots were is still healing so I have kept him inside. Today when I was checking on him I noticed his skin is pure white on his rear end. What could this be?

Can you post a photo? Is the area where the skin is white part of where the maggot infestation was?
