It's been a while since I've posted to this site, mostly because both of our boxies are doing well. We might even be expecting a little one soon. We'll have to see if it turns out.

Anyway, we've found that growing our own organic food has been great for the turtles. We just grow (without pesticides or herbicides) our own romaine hearts in our back yard garden, and they love it. The fresh veggies as opposed to store bought ones seem to get them more active. Sometimes we even let them roam around the garden, which is a real treat for them.

Now for my question: we have an unusually large amount of cabbage. How much (if any) is appropriate to feed a box turtle?

Thanks!
